1. What was your first car?
Are you ready for this? I'm not sure that you are. Because the info I am about to lay down is gonna blow your mind. 1983 Chevy Celebrity. Oh yes. AM radio and everything! :) I was SO proud to drive that boat. My mom got it for me as a graduation gift.

2. Who was your favorite childhood teacher?
Mrs. McColley. 3rd grade AND 5th grade. After lunch she would read to the class as we munched on graham crackers. When she wrote on the chalkboard she always held the chalk with her pointer finger and pointed at what she had written with her middle finger. I always thought this was particularly naughty. She also had an Irish Claddagh ring that I secretly coveted. And every morning after the Pledge of Allegiance we spent 20 minutes singing. She would stand at the piano as she played. She taught us songs that I still know to this day.
"Theeeeeeere once was a horse and his name was Bill..." - Which I just found out was written by the Grateful Dead... Mrs. McColley was a bad ass!

3. Were you involved in any sports/extracurricular activities?
Oh yes. I was very active in drama and choir in high school. Loved it! My favorite musical we did was The Music Man. I played a Pick-a-Little lady (aka town gossip) who was a little prudish. We also did Peter Pan and had the Flys come up from Vegas to make our Peter Pan fly!

4. What was your favorite birthday party?
In grade school, for three or four years in a row, my mom took my friends and me to see The Nutcracker. I would have to say that was my favorite because it was repeated so many times. We always made a Christmas craft at my parties too. A lot of the girls still have them! That makes my heart happy.

6. What show/movie did your parents not allow you to watch?
This is a touchy subject... I wasn't allowed to watch MTV. I think my mom thought that Madonna wasn't a very good role model for me. I didn't like her cone boobs anyway. I grew up with Women of History flash cards. I'm not complaining!
